About ADHD Coaching Room

Why I Created The ADHD Coaching Room

I know what it’s like to wonder why life sometimes feels harder than it should – at work, in relationships, or just trying to keep up with daily routines. For years, I struggled with focus and often felt overwhelmed by things that seemed easy for others. I changed jobs more than once, trying to find the right fit, but that didn’t help either. Eventually, I moved overseas to find a less structured way of working and living, which in many ways worked better for me.

I created The ADHD Coaching Room as a calm, supportive space for adults who can relate, whether you’ve been diagnosed, self-identified, or are just beginning to explore the possibility. You don’t need to have everything figured out to start. As an ADHD coach in the UK, I blend practical tools with lived experience and my counselling background to help you find strategies that work for your brain.

I’ve also developed a simple, ADHD-friendly method called The Clear Forward Tools™, designed to help you cut through the noise, build momentum, and move forward with more clarity and confidence.

Why I Support Adults With ADHD

I support adults in the UK through ADHD coaching to reduce overwhelm, build focus, and grow confidence. My approach isn’t about forcing rigid systems, but about creating flexible strategies that respect the way your brain works. Alongside my professional training, I bring my own lived experience, which means I understand how ADHD can affect daily life, and how small shifts can make a big difference.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, exploring new places, and sharing simple moments with my daughter. Personal growth and self-development are important to me, and I love weaving that curiosity into the support I offer.

Too Loud, Too Quiet - Finding My Balance

I used to wonder why everyday life could sometimes feel overwhelming, even when things seemed fine on the surface. At work, structure helped me stay on track, but unplanned moments, especially social events, could feel harder and left me holding back.

Realising this wasn’t a personal failing but part of how my brain works was a huge relief. It helped me understand myself and find a healthier way forward. That’s what ADHD coaching offers too, the chance to recognise these patterns, understand them, and build more confidence and self-acceptance.

Living In Between – The Quiet Code-Switch

Many adults with ADHD describe the constant effort of shifting between roles, adapting to fit in at work, in relationships, or among different groups. It can feel like a quiet kind of code-switching that leaves you believing you’re “too much” for one group and “not enough” for another.

My coaching recognises this in-between space. Together, we work on building strategies that help you feel supported and understood, so you don’t have to perform or prove anything. Instead, you can create a life where you feel grounded, confident, and free to be yourself. Learn more about coaching.

Workplaces don’t need to be louder. They need to be kinder.

For many adults with ADHD, just showing up can take a huge amount of energy. It’s easy to feel like you have to push harder or be someone you’re not, just to keep up.

ADHD coaching can help you advocate for what you need, without apology. Together, we look at strategies that make work and life feel more manageable, so you can move forward with clarity and confidence.

About Me and Why I Do This Work

I’ve worked in lots of different roles over the years, including several spent overseas. Those years gave me the sense of freedom and fun I was looking for at the time. It wasn’t a traditional career path, but it taught me how much our environment and lifestyle can impact our wellbeing, especially when you’re living with ADHD.

Moving into more structured roles later on was a real adjustment. It showed me how much pressure adults with ADHD can feel to fit into systems that don’t really suit them. That experience now shapes the way I coach, helping people find approaches that fit their lives, rather than trying to squeeze themselves into boxes that lead to burnout.
